SMS Terms

The terms that apply to text messages sent by Multiply, including messages we send on behalf of the businesses we work with.

1. Who sends these messages

Multiply sends text messages:

• for itself, for example to follow up on a request you made through our website or to confirm a meeting with our team; and
• on behalf of its clients, which are businesses such as insurance brokers, lenders and other companies that hired Multiply to follow up with people who contacted them or are already their customers.

Every message identifies the business it is sent for. When we text on behalf of a client, that client’s own terms and privacy policy also apply.

2. Consent

We send text messages only to people who have given the required consent. Consent may be given through a website or online form, verbally during a call, or in a written or electronic agreement, and is recorded. For messages sent on behalf of a client, consent is usually collected by that client, or by us on its behalf.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of buying any product or service.

3. Types of messages

• Follow-up on a quote, information or service you requested
• Appointment scheduling, confirmations and reminders
• Service, account or renewal notifications
• Promotional messages, only if you gave express consent to receive them

4. Message frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your request and the program. We send messages only during permitted hours.

5. Costs

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. How to opt out

Reply STOP (or ARRÊT) to any message to stop receiving texts from that program. You will receive one message confirming your request, and no further messages will be sent unless you give new consent. You can also opt out by contacting us.

8. Privacy

Text messages are covered by our Privacy Policy. Mobile phone numbers and text-message consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

9. Consent wording on our forms

Forms that collect text-message consent for Multiply use wording like this:

“By checking this box, I agree to receive text messages from Multiply about my request, appointments and service updates at the phone number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms.”
